Greatfruit
Greatfruit is a kaleidoscope of late '70s and early '80s nostalgia, transported through a psychedelic lens. These psychedelic pop explorers debuted in 2019 at OverOslo and with their single "Arcade Love.” Since then, they have sprinkled retro-futuristic stardust over a growing fan base, with a mini-tour of Norway, KlubbbØya, and more than a dozen gigs in Oslo. Greatfruit has now finally released their long-awaited debut album, "About Time,” which dropped in February 2025. Get ready to press play and enter a world where rhythms from the past, future, and present unite. As Greatfruit says, it’s “About time.”
Aowafy Orchestra
Aowafy Orchestra is an Oslo-based group of musicians playing East-African afrobeat, inspired by jazz, soul, and funk. They started as a group in 2022, and their second gig was playing Øyanatt in August, where they also brought surprise guest artists MC Magnus and KØBER for the encores. Aowafy also held a sold-out concert at Ingensteds together with the infamous Eek-A-Mouse in 2023. Aowafy's first album, "Al-Kumba," is just around the corner. The record is a live-take project from a studio session at Endless Tinnitus in 2024 and is a snapshot in our history — raw, intimate, and unfiltered. It's best paired with a cold lager under a parasol when the sun is shining.
IINES
Stine Øen, known as IINES on Spotify, is a musician from Telemark. Her debut single on Spotify was "All of us." She has experimented with genres such as pop, indie, and EDM, but in recent years, she has settled on a more soul-inspired style. With several projects in the pipeline, it will be exciting to see which direction her music will take.
