Nikolai Torgersen is known as one of Norway’s most uncompromising visual artists – this spring, he debuted as an author with Gater jeg har levd, a raw and moving story about growing up in a home marked by substance abuse, poverty, and love.

This evening, he meets his editor Jon Krog Pedersen for an honest and powerful conversation about art, trauma, forgiveness – and how to find meaning in the darkest of times.

Following the conversation, there will be book sales and signing, and the bar will be open.
