Kasia Baranska (b. 1986) first came to Norway in 2012. Working within aesthetics across fashion and interiors for more than a decade, she has developed a strong sensitivity for objects, form, and the way spaces come together over time.

In 2023 she founded Kaba Universe, a platform working across interiors, vintage curation, and styling. Her practice centers on the relationship between spaces and objects, and how they naturally interact to create environments that feel intuitive, personal, and lived-in.

She is drawn to handcrafted objects, strong silhouettes, and pieces with a distinct identity. Often a little unusual, sometimes slightly strange — the kinds of objects that carry presence.

Her eclectic eye and love for thrifting guide a practice of collecting rather than composing. Spaces emerge slowly, shaped by objects gathered over time.

When encountering a piece, she often already senses the space it belongs to — as if the object itself already knows where it should live.
